What the site does
- Works with a keyboard. A skip link leads every page; menus, galleries and photo viewers open, browse and close (Esc) from the keyboard, and focus returns where you left off.
- Respects reduced motion. Sliders and animations hold still when your device asks for less movement.
- Describes its images. Meaningful photos carry text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Reads at your size. Text scales with your browser's zoom and text settings, and every text color is measured against WCAG AA contrast thresholds.
- Stays quiet. No sound, no flashing — video is muted and gentle.
We use WCAG 2.1 level AA as our guide. The site was audited in July 2026 — automated checks run clean on every page, and the keyboard paths above are tested by hand. A full screen-reader listen-through is still on our list.
